On Friday morning, X and Grok went offline for users around the world on both websites and apps. Crash reports began to accumulate Down syndrome detector around 10:00 a.m. ET while Cisco ThousandEyes outage map noticed that over 600 X servers around the world were having problems.
Trying to load the site with a command Twitter.com Or X.com addresses showed a Cloudflare connection error or initially did not display any posts or feeds. It is currently unclear what caused the outage, and although the site has since been restored for many users, it still does not function normally and often displays the message “Something went wrong. Please try reloading.”
The website and app began to become available again to some users around 11 a.m. EST. However, the issues seem to come on and off, for some users the site and app come back online and display updated posts, but still experience issues with loading feeds and displaying the latest posts.
X hasn’t replied yet Edgerequests for comment. We will update this article as more information becomes available.
