In pairs Social truth posts on Sunday, Donald Trump announced a list of selected members of his administration’s technology policy team, which will report to David Sacks, Trump’s “artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency czar.” The picks include Michael Kratsios, who will head the Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) if confirmed by the Senate.

Kratsios, who served as White House technology director during Trump’s first term, also briefly served as undersecretary at the Department of Defense at the end of that term. He later became managing director of Scale AI and helped lead Trump’s technology policy transition team.

The president-elect also selected his former deputy chief technology officer, Dr. Lynne Parker, to serve as executive director of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. The President’s Council of Advisors on Digital Assets (also known as the “Crypto Council”) will be headed by former college football player and unsuccessful GOP congressional candidate Bo Hines. Trump’s AI policy advisor for the OSTP will be Sriram Krishnan, who has extensive experience in Silicon Valley, having worked at Andreessen Horowitz, X, Meta and Snap.
