Zillow introduces the AI powered function, which will allow home hunters to empty the furniture room or subtly change the design style. The idea is to facilitate overcoming suspicious elections of the owner’s project and dubious furniture so that the buyers can better imagine themselves in the property.
In the concept, the tool called virtual staging is great. This solved a real and challenging problem, which at some point met almost everyone who was looking for a home. “Too many buyers skip what can be an ideal home for their family simply because he does not see furniture or design choices,” says Zillow Home Trends Amanda Pendleton.
Unfortunately, the virtual staging is rather basic in this implementation phase. Commercial changes are so subtle – adapting a bit of furniture here, changing the color of the carpet there – you would have a problem with knowing that something has changed without the municipality of artificial intelligence or the possibility of moving between pre -selected styles, such as contemporary, Scandinavian, luxury and country house.
Zillow claims that this feature is a “smarter way to shop” and sales, joining the AI search function, which was improved last year to lend a hand buyers find houses. Its operate will be circumscribed to the premium “presentation” lists, and even then it is only on “selected photos of the room”. All examples also seem circumscribed to ordinary white walls.
