Sundar Pichai says Google search will be “profoundly changed” in 2025

Google CEO Sundar Pichai says the company’s search engine will “change significantly” in 2025. “I think we’ll be able to answer more complex questions than ever before,” Pichai said while NOWtop DealBook on Wednesday.

“Even in early 25, I think you’ll be surprised at what newer things search can offer compared to what’s out there today.”

Pichai also responded to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella’s comments earlier this year in which he said Google should have was the “default winner” in the AI ​​race. “I would like to make a direct comparison between Microsoft’s models and our models,” Pichai said. He added that Microsoft “uses other people’s models,” referring to the company’s partnership with OpenAI.

“When I look at what’s coming, I see that we are in the earliest stages of profound change,” Pichai said. “I just think there’s still a lot of innovation ahead of us. We want to be at the highest level in this field, and I think we are.”
