We are in the process of changing the tectonic platform, which requires us from both management and the development of our commercial activities on a scale, while building a up-to-date border and flawlessly performing flawlessly.
History shows that the technologies of a general goal, such as AI, change the performance and development of GDP, and we have a unique opportunity to facilitate our clients and the world in fulfilling this promise.
Our success depends on enabling clients and partners of public sector and partners to combine human capital with up-to-date AI capabilities to change the limit of operation. To accelerate this, we will more and more often combine sales, marketing, operations and engineering to enhance growth and strengthen our position as a partner of choice in the field of AI transformation.
In this context, I asked Judson Althoff to take an extended role as the general director of our commercial activity. Over the past nine years, Judson has managed our global sales organization and was an architect of the design and building solutions of Microsoft Customer and Partners (McAPs) in what it is today: “number one” in the industry and the most crucial engine development engine.
Takeshi Number and his marketing team will join this up-to-date organization, and Takeshi reports directly to Judson as CMO, and at the same time still report directly about all business models, planning, consumer marketing as well as a corporate brand and communication.
Our operational organization will also move to report to Judson. By introducing activities in the commercial industry, we can tighten the feedback loop between what customers need and how we provide and support them. Carolina Dybeck Happe will continue to inform me because she is working on our general transformation of the company and will continue to work closely with Judson.
In addition, Judson will lead a up-to-date commercial leadership team that brings together leaders from engineering, sales, marketing, operations and finance to enhance product and management strategy, GTM readiness and sales movements with joint responsibility for rigor and executive perfection that our clients expect.
This will also enable our engineering leaders and focuses on our highest technical work of ambition – building our data center, system architecture, AI science and product innovation – running with intensity and pace in this change of generational platform. Each of us must be at the best in terms of rapid learning of up-to-date skills, adopting up-to-date ways of work and stay close to metal to drive innovations around the stack !!
This is not just evolution, it is again, for each of us professionally and for Microsoft.
