Anthropic adds a up-to-date person to his board: Reed Hastings, president of Netflix, co -founder and former CEO.
“Hastings brings extensive experience in the assumption and scaling of Netflix to the global entertainment power, as well as its service on Facebook boards, Microsoft and Bloomberg,” says Anthropic In your announcement.
The company adds that “as someone who both built Netflix for a global platform and intensively invested in education reform and digital infrastructure in emerging markets, from the very beginning ensures practical understanding of how to ensure how technology serves wider social purposes.”
“Anthropic is very optimistic about the benefits of AI for humanity, but it is also very aware of economic, social and security challenges,” says Hastings in a statement. “I join the Anthropica board because I believe in their approach to the development of AI and help in the development of humanity.”
The Anthropic Board also includes the general director of Dario Amodei, President Daniel Amodea, Yasmin Razavi and Jay Kreps. The company has recently released its Claude 4 AI models.
Hastings gave way as CEO Netflix in 2023.
