Openai updates chatgpt to refer to your previous chats

Opeli announced on Thursday that he was starting to introduce a recent memory function in ChatGPT, which allows chatbot to adapt answers to users based on the content of previous conversations.

The company claims that the function that appears in the ChatGPT settings as “memories of recording references” aims to conduct talks with chatgpt more suitable for users. The company added that the update will add a conversation context to the text, voice and generation of ChatGPT image.

The recent memory function will first appear for the ChatgPT Pro i Plus subscribers, except for those based in Great Britain, the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland. Opeli claims that these regions require additional external reviews to follow local regulations, but the company is involved in providing technology available there.

Opeli did not have information to be made for a premiere for free chatgpt users. “For now, we are focusing on the implementation of paid levels,” said Techcrunch spokesman.

The goal of the recent memory function is to make ChatGPT more fluid and personal – you will not have to repeat the information that you have already made available with chatgpt. In February, Google introduced a similar memory function in the twins.

Of course, each user will be delighted with the concept of vacuuming OpenAI more of their information. Fortunately, there is resignation. In CHATGPT settings, users can decide to turn off the recent memory function and manage specific memories.

Opeli says that you can also ask chatgpt what he remembers or go to a momentary chat for conversations that will not be stored.

Last year, Opennai updated ChatgPT to forget or remember specific details on demand. However, this function usually required a clear hint from users to update CHATGPT memory. Today’s implementation makes this process theoretically more trouble -free.

Opeli claims that the recent memory function will be enabled by default for users who previously had the possibility of CHATGPT memory.
