OPENAI president, Altman himself described in detail plans for AI GPT-4.5 and GPT-5 models in a road map published on X on Wednesday.
In the post, Altman also admitted that the composition of Opeli’s products has complicated and says that the company wants to do “much better work”, simplifying its offer. “We hate the model model as you and we want to go back to the magical united intelligence,” says Altman.
The company plans to send GPT-4.5, which, he claims, was called Orion internally, will be “the last model without a chain”. The Verge Several details about Orion were reported last year.
Both with API ChatgPT and OpenAI, the company plans to “spend GPT-5 as a system that integrates many of our technologies, including O3,” says Altman, adding that “we will no longer send O3 as an independent model.” Opeli first irritated O3 in December and launched O3-Mini in January.
When the GPT-5 is available, Altman claims that FREE CHATGPT users will receive “unlimited access to chat” in “standard intelligence setting”. Plus subscribers will be able to employ GPT-5 at a “higher level of intelligence”, and Pro Subscribers receive a “even higher level of intelligence”.
