Opeli is not a normal company and will never be.
Our mission is to ensure that artificial general intelligence (agi) will benefit all humanity.
When we started Opeli, we didn’t make a detailed sense how we intend to perform our mission. We began to look at each other at the kitchen table, wondering what tests we should carry out. At that time, we did not consider the products, the business model. We could not consider the direct benefits of using AI for medical advice, science, efficiency and many others, nor the needs of hundreds of billions of computing dollars for training models and user service.
We didn’t really know how Agi was to build or utilize. Many people can imagine an oracle that could tell scientists and presidents what to do, and although it can be extremely risky, maybe these few people could trust it.
Many people around Opeli in the early years thought that AI should only be in the hands of a few trusted people who could “deal with it.”
We now see the way that Aga can directly strengthen everyone as the most talented tool in human history. If we manage to do this, we think that people will build amazing things for themselves and continue to drive society and quality of life. Of course, this will not be used for good, but we trust humanity and we think that the good will exceed the bad order of size.
We are involved in this path of democratic artificial intelligence. We want to put amazing tools in the hands of everyone. We are surprised and delighted with what they create with our tools and how much they want to utilize them. We want Open Source very talented models. We want to give our users a lot of freedom in how we allow them to utilize our tools within the wide limits, even if we do not always share the same moral framework and allow our users to make decisions regarding CHATGPT behavior.
We believe that this is the best path forward – Aga should allow all humanity to utilize itself. We realize that some people have very different opinions.
We want to build a brain for the world and make it easier for people to utilize what they want (subject to few restrictions; for example, freedom should not affect other people’s freedom).

Because the systems become more capable, they will want to utilize it even more, for even more wonderful things.
We had no idea that it would be a state of the world when we launched our research laboratory almost ten years ago. But now, when we see this photo, we are excited.

Instead of our current structure composed of organizations-what made sense when it looked like one dominant effort of Aga, but not in the world of many vast aggy companies we go to the normal structure of capital in which everyone has wrestling. This is not sales, but a change in the structure to something simpler.
The non -profit organization will continue to control PBC and become a vast shareholder of the PBCIn the amount supported by independent financial advisers, providing non -profit resources to support programs so that AI can bring many different communities according to the mission. As PBC increases, non -profit resources will grow, so it can do even more. We are excited that we will soon receive recommendations from ours Non -profit committee About how we can support, that AI brings benefits to everyone – not only a few. Their ideas focus on how our non -profit work can support AI’s more democratic future and have a real impact on such areas as health, education, public services and scientific discovery.
We think that this makes us continue speedy, safe and sound progress and places great artificial intelligence in the hands of everyone. Creating Aga is our brick on the path of human progress; We can’t wait to see what bricks you will add.
