Adguard calls the recall “concern for privacy” in Post on the blog outlines Why does it block the AI Microsoft tool. “The very idea of capturing the background screen is disturbing,” says Adguard. “At a given moment the system can make a screenshot of a private chat window, an online form in which you enter a credit card, or just something personal that you didn’t want to save.”

Brave admits He was “partly inspired by blocking by withdrawal” because the decision to block withdrawal from access to the browser. “We will turn it off by default to Windows 11+ users, with a switch to include it in users who really want to remember,” says Brave.

The signal for the first time began to block Windows 11 screenshots in May, at the same time emphasizing that Microsoft “launched a withdrawal without granular settings for application developers that would allow the signal to be easily protected by privacy, which is a glaring omission that limits our choices.”

The signal block consists in using the DRM flag, which means that it blocks any screenshot or tools for availability of access to the message for sending. Brave is able to offer access to screenshots and availability tools and continue to turn off the recall, because Microsoft allows you to browser applications detailed the recall. “Although it is comforting that Microsoft recognizes that web browsers are particularly sensitive to privacy, we hope that they offer the same granulated ability to turn off the mention of all programmers of applications focused on privacy,” says Brave.
