In recent years, Microsoft has been constantly improving its paint application for Windows 11 thanks to shadowy mode, transparency and layers, and even creating AI powered images. Now Microsoft adds two up-to-date features similar to Photoshop to painting.
Soon you will be able to save your paint creations as a project file, like the Photoshop (.PSD) document. Paint Project files are currently being tested with Windows installations in Dev and Canary channels. “You can now save your work as an editable file of the painting project and easily pick up the place” Explains Dave GrochockiThe main manager of the product manager for Windows Microsoft receiving applications.
Painting files will be stored with, as you guessed, the .Paint file extension. Painting files will also store layers in the file. “When you are ready to return, just open the file to start it in the paint, in the place where you finished,” says Grochocki.
Microsoft also adds coverage sliders to adjust the transparency of the pencil and the tools of brushing in the paint. “To start, choose or tool and use a slider on the left side of the canvas to adjust the coverage to the desired level,” says Grochocki.
If you are a fan of tools for cutting out in Windows 11, Microsoft also adds a quick function of markers that facilitates the annotation of screenshots. On the tool tool of the marker there is a highlighter, pen and eraser, as well as the ability to easily restore the image.
Finally, Microsoft also adds a record, summary, summary and rewriting as a free function in a notebook for Copilot Plus computer users. You will not need a Microsoft 365 subscription to operate it, but Grochocki claims that you can “switch without problems between local and cloud models based on your needs.” Microsoft uses local models on Copilot Plus computers to power this notebook function.
