Microsoft provides live translation previews on Copilot Plus computers with Intel and AMD processors. Function is going on now for Windows 11 Insiders on the Dev Channel, allowing users to translate audio from over 44 languages into English subtitles.

Initially introduced on Qualcomm-based Copilot Plus computers, Live Translation works with any audio playing on your Copilot Plus computer, whether it’s from a YouTube video, a live video conference, or a recording. If the audio is in a supported language, Windows 11 will display real-time subtitles in English. Function can now translate from Spanish, French, Russian, Chinese, Korean, Arabic and others.

Microsoft is gradually introducing more AI features to Copilot Plus computers with Intel and AMD processors. Earlier this month, Microsoft began testing the Recall feature, which creates snapshots of your activity on your Copilot Plus computer and allows you to recall specific memories on devices with Intel and AMD chips.

Microsoft is also rolling out a live translation update to Qualcomm-powered Copilot Plus computers as Windows 11 testers in the developer channel can now translate selected languages to Simplified Chinese.
