Intersystems at Himss25: The laser focused on helping customers in Genai

Intersystems have been on stage for a long time, since 1978 and saw how technological trends come and go. Artificial intelligence is the one that has power – and huge transformation potential for healthcare.

That is why this year in Himss25 the company is particularly focused on “helping our clients in building the best possible foundations in the distribution of generative artificial intelligence,” says Kathleen Aller, head of the global strategy of the healthcare market at Intersystems.

“We plan to emphasize the importance of having comprehensive, clean data and tools for good management, such as interoperability, identity management, connection with the entire relevant ecosystem of health and care, and the possibilities of data management to build and implement your own AI models,” explains Aller.

“In times of rapid changes and uncertainty, our role in Intersystems is to make sure that our clients are ready for anything they can come,” he adds. “We assure you that healthcare organizations and developers we serve have the opportunity to be ready for anything that can come.”

But AI is not just the only thing on which intersystems are focused. The long -term database and information exchange leader also focuses on the aid of a wide range of healthcare clients in satisfying many other success requirements in a rapidly moving industry with constantly evolving requirements.

For example: “There is a huge interest from health plans in understanding both how they can meet the regulatory requirements regarding the authorization and interoperability of E-Prior, and how they can get more value from investment in compliance,” said Aller.

What else should they look for guests and ask at the Intersystems stand (#2032)?

“We will be presentations of our product and customers leaders on several products: Intersystems Health Gateway, Intersystems Payer Services, our international EHR and EMPI Intersystems with reference adjustment,” says Aller.

“We have clients such as Todd Rogow, general director of Healthix, the largest public hie in the USA, talking about the groundbreaking work that his team performs to facilitate observation tests and apply Genai to longitudinal medical documentation. We also have a presentation of innovators, emphasizing several start-ups that utilize the technology of the up-to-date generation intersystem intersystem.

Intersystems will start a week from Monday evening in the sphere of Las Vegas.

And on Wednesday, the company organizes an annual lunch and learning program for health plans leaders.

“This year, the topic is the challenge of electronic scaling of earlier authorization to the national level. We will have speakers from Ehealth Exchange, Jay Nakashima and from the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, Doug Dietzman, “says Aller. “Both organizations introduce HUB models and speak and will divide their prospects for both challenges and what they have achieved. And Julie Smith’s intensystems will provide an update of inter -payer payers’ services in the scope of regulatory regulations.

Aller says that leaders and intensystems clients also participate in several key sessions.

On Tuesday, at 10:15, in San Polo 3501, he organizes an international panel on the subject of “releasing EHR from the restrictions of the past,” he explains, noting that this is a continuation of the session last year, where Dr. Yaa Kumah-Crystal from Vanderbilt checked some ways in which Genai could simplify existing processes. Dr. Kumah-Crystal will moderate a session with panelists from the partners of the Red Cells of the USA, EMC, Indonesia, Mediclinic Middle East in the United Arab Emirates and UC Christe in Chile.

On Wednesday, at 10 am, also in San Polo 3501, “we have a panel about the role of interoperability in driving digital health innovations,” says Aller. This one focuses more on technology programmers and will include panelists from Rock Health Advisory, Mass General Brigham Innovation and Irhytm.

Also on Wednesday, at 13:30 in Delfino 4103, Intersystems will host international workshops and lunch entitled “From innovation to integration – practical considerations on clinical artificial intelligence,” he says. He will be led by the head of EHR strategies and operations, Dimitri Fanes, and will cover leaders from NHS Scotland, Gemelli Hospital in Italy and EMC Health in Indonesia.

“Considering the extremely complex regulatory landscape and compliance around the world, we believe that this will be an important topic, because Genai will be more broadly adopted outside the USA,” says Aller.
