Google is Implementation of updates In the case of twins that will allow chatbot AI to “remember” your previous conversations without prompt. After enabling the Gemini setting, it will automatically recall your “key details and preferences” and employ them to personalize its output data.

This expands the update that Google introduced last year, which allows Gemini to ask to “remember” your personal preferences and interests. Now Gemini will not require monitoring to recall this information. As an example, Google says that if you used the twins to get ideas for the YouTube channel surrounding the Japanese culture in the past, then Ai Chatbot may suggest creating content about trying Japanese food, if you ask to offer recent video ideas in the future.

When asked about this problem, Google spokesman Elijah Lawal said that Google “constantly” tries to improve his security. “We focus on the construction of AI’s personal assistant, and the twins getting to know preferences are crucial for this,” said Lawal. “It is equally crucial to ensure easy control to choose the best impressions, so you can turn on and disable this function at any time.”

Google will turn on this function by default, but you can turn it off, heading for your settings in the Gemini application and selecting Personal context. Turn off from there Your previous conversations with Gemini option. Google will introduce this function to its Pro Gemini 2.5 model in “selected countries”, after which it will eventually introduce it to a larger number of locations and the Flash Gemini 2.5 model.

Google also changes its privacy settings. In “coming weeks” Google will change the name of its setting “Gemini application” to “keep activity”. After enabling this option, Google will employ a “sample” of the file and sending photos to Gemini to “help improve Google services for everyone”, from September 2, according to its blog post. This setting is disabled by default, and Google notes that “maintenance activity” will also remain disabled if you have already turned off the setting “Gemini application activity”.

You can also maintain privacy using the recent “Temporary Chats” option in Gemini. Ephemeral conversations will not appear on your last chats or maintenance activity settings. The twins will also not employ these chats to personalize future conversations, nor Google will employ them to train his AI models. Google saves these conversations only for 72 hours. It is said that fleeting conversations may be useful for “discovering private questions” or preventing Gemini from referring to the details of the conversation in the future chat.
