Google introduces Gemini AI-powered video presentation app

Google generally implements Gemini AI-based solutions Video app which allows you to create video presentations using prompts. Some of Vids’ key features include allowing Gemini to automatically insert footage, generate a script, and create AI voiceovers so you don’t have to speak. Google advertises that this tool can support you turn customer service articles into videos, create training videos, share company announcements, create meeting summaries, and more.

Videos will be available by default to Workspace organizations with access, but Google notes that possible usage restrictions could apply to features like “Help me create” and AI voice-overs from 2026.

First announced in April, Vids allows you to place relevant documents, slides, voice recordings and videos on the app’s timeline and generate presentation videos for colleagues. The app supports multiple languages, but AI features like Facilitate Me Create and Teleprompter for Reading are only available in English for now. The Vids rollout period began on November 7 and may take more than 15 days in some cases.
