Somewhere in the animated Up-to-date York stars slides and turns the sewage system. When he is surrounded by a wave of radioactive green sludge, his body begins to transform – contains mutations, appearing rows of bloody fangs – his spherical, like a worm, sliding menacingly on the screen.

“Watch the servant at night, the shadow of the soul endlessly in sight,” the singing narrator AI sings when a monstrous creature, now lurking in the pool, sneaks behind a screaming child before they crunch it, ruthlessly, between teeth.

Regardless of whether it is a fun accident or a ghostly fault, every video brings a new history of transformation for children!”

Allegedly child-friendly, the content of Go Cat is visceral, surreal-the most critical inclusion of body horror. His topics seem incredibly reminiscent of what in 2017 became known as Elsagate, where hundreds of thousands of films depicting children, such as Elsa, appeared on YouTube FrozenSpider-Man and Peppa Pig involved in hazardous, sexual and offensive situations. By manipulating the platform algorithms, these films could appear in a dedicated application for children in YouTube – at curiosity of children to practice thousands of clicks for cash. Trying to eliminate the problem, YouTube removed the ads Over 2 million moviesdeleted over 150,000 and finished 270 accounts. Although subsequent studies by Wired revealed that similar channels – some containing sex and scatological performances Minecraft Avatary – contacted to appear on the YouTube topic page, the range of Elsagate was noticed.

Go Cat is just one of many that appeared when they are connected, looking for conditions as harmless as “creatures”, “Thomas the Tank Engine” and “Cute Cats”. Many of them concern basic staples, such as pregnant, dressed by Elsa and Anna’s underwear, but the creatures are another large hit, as did animated cats and kittens.

In response to the request of Wired for commentary, YouTube claims that “he has completed two marked channels to violate our service conditions” and suspends the monetization of three other channels.

“Many films have also been deleted for violating our children’s security policy,” says YouTube spokesman. “As always, all content sent to YouTube is subject to our social guidelines and high -quality principles for children – no matter how it is generated.”

Asked what rules exist to prevent forbidden users from being simply opening a novel channel, YouTube stated that this would be contrary to the terms of services and that these rules were rigorously enforced “using the connection of both people and technology.”
