ChatGPT releases its own version of Spotify Wrapped. This means that the OpenAI-owned chatbot is now making an annual review feature called “Your Year with ChatGPT” available to eligible consumers in select markets, including the United States.
Other English-speaking markets with access to the fresh offering include Canada, the UK, Australia and Modern Zealand.
At launch, the feature will be available to people on the Free, Plus and Pro plans who have “Reference Saved Memories” and “Reference Chat History” options enabled and have met the minimum conversation activity threshold, the company told TechCrunch via email.
Team, corporate or education accounts will not be able to employ the “Your Year with ChatGPT” feature. Additionally, the experience is designed to be “lightweight, privacy-enhancing and user-controlled,” the company noted.
Like other annual reviews offered by consumer apps, “Your Year with ChatGPT” draws inspiration from the popular year-end look back, Spotify Wrapped. Like Spotify’s feature, OpenAI uses catchy graphics and personalizes the experience to the individual by awarding “rewards” based on how you used ChatGPT throughout the year.
For example, you could be awarded a “Creative Debugger” if you used a chatbot to find a solution to a problem or developed a concept or idea.

The app also creates a poem and image about your year, focusing on topics that interest you. (We wonder what this will look like next year as ChatGPT will include adult content in 2026)
While the year in review will be promoted on the ChatGPT app home screen, it will not be pushed to users or opened automatically.

According to the company, it will be available on the ChatGPT web app and mobile app for iOS and Android.
You can also request ChatGPT directly for “Your Year with ChatGPT” to launch this experience.
