Apple is now allowing developers to try out more Apple Intelligence features. The company has released the first developer beta of iOS 18.2, which adds tools such as the ability to generate emojis with Genmoji and images with Image Playground, more AI-powered typing features, ChatGPT integration, Visual Intelligence for search using the iPhone 16 camera phones and more, According to 9 to 5Mac. Apple Intelligence is now supported in this beta also in more regions.

iOS 18.2 will provide users with a second batch of Apple Intelligence features. The first batch, which includes features like a slightly smarter Siri and notification summaries, will be released next week with the official version of iOS 18.1.

Apple debuted planned Apple Intelligence features at WWDC 2024 in June, but announced then that the updates would be rolled out in phases. One of the most impressive planned features is for Siri to recognize what’s happening on your iPhone screen and take action based on your requests, but that’s still missing even in iOS 18.2.

Apple also released the first developer beta of macOS Sequoia 15.2 with modern Apple Intelligence tools, 9 to 5Mac reports. Genmoji is apparently not included in this beta.
