Government entities supervising access to medicines in Novel Zealand plan to accept AI assistants and tools to accelerate processes and support decision -making.
The Novel Zealand Office for the Security of Medical and Medical Equipment (MedSafe) and the Pharmaceutical Management Agency (Pharmac) were involved in the pilot of the Ministry of Health Ministry Microsoft Copilot, wise, conversational conversation chatbot powered by artificial intelligence.
In addition, MedSafe examines the employ of other AI tools “with the possibility of managing larger data sets and meeting our requirements for commercial and patient sensitive confidentiality.”
