Adobe sees a dazzling future when its investment in artificial intelligence pays off

Embedding generative AI into Adobe’s imaginative software ecosystem is paying off, according to researchers the company’s latest results. While the company’s stock price is down more than 37 percent this year as of this writing, Adobe is seeing an enhance in annual earnings driven by record revenues of $23.77 billion in 2025 — an 11 percent year-over-year enhance that it largely attributes to artificial intelligence.

“Adobe’s record results for 2025 reflect our growing importance in the global AI ecosystem and the rapid adoption of our AI-powered tools,” Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen said in a press release. According to Narayen, the company currently aims to grow annual recurring revenue (ARR) by 10.2% in 2026 by “developing our innovative generative and agent platforms and expanding our customer base.”

Over the past two years, Adobe has embraced AI with the launch of its Firefly family of generative AI models for image, video and audio in its imaginative applications and marketing solutions. According to ARR, AI-powered technology now accounts for more than a third of Adobe’s overall business your earnings report.

According to Narayen, one of Adobe’s most essential achievements this year was “establishing our position in leading AI ecosystems through partnerships and integrations with AWS, Azure, Google Gemini, HUMAIN, Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI and others.” In other words, if Adobe can’t compete directly with AI rivals, it’s relying on third-party integrations to assist it survive the continued conquest of the imaginative industry by generative AI.
