According to Google, it plans to add a up-to-date “AI mode” to its search engine report from Information. According to reports, the company will display an option to switch to AI mode at the top of the results page, allowing access to an interface similar to the Gemini AI chatbot.
The up-to-date AI Mode tab will be located to the left of the “All”, “Images”, “Video” and “Shopping” tabs, Information reports. When you get a reply in AI mode, Information claims that Google will display links to related websites and “a search bar below the conversational response that will prompt users to ‘Ask for further information…’
It tracks with Android authorities report earlier this month where AI mode was detected in the beta version of Google apps. 9to5Google I also dug up the code suggesting that you can utilize AI mode to ask questions by voice. Edge reached out to Google for comment but did not immediately receive a response.
