It’s effortless to think of artificial intelligence as a kind of existential battle between man and machine. Maybe one day it will be possible Skynet style. But there are also many people who are trying to figure out how to exploit artificial intelligence not as a substitute for human creativity and thinking, but as a tool to enhance it.

Sari Azout is one such person. She is the founder Sublimea platform dedicated to curation, creativity and ideas. Sublime is all about taste, so it’s a bit surprising that there’s a huge amount of artificial intelligence behind its operation. But for Azout, it all makes sense.

Azout also explains how he uses AI in his life, both as a productivity tool and as a artistic partner. She has some reservations about how artificial intelligence might evolve and what that might mean as we rely on it for much of our lives, but she believes there is a balance that can work.
