Here is the first CoPilot plus minicomputer with modern Intel Core Ultra 9 processors

He has Asus announced the Asus NUC 14 Pro AIthe first AI mini computer to support Copilot Plus, which houses an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor in a black Mac Mini M4-like case. First unveiled at IFA in September, Asus is sharing a bit more details about the mini PC’s specifications than before, but still doesn’t say it will be available or how much it will cost.

The NUC 14 Pro AI will be available in five processor configurations, ranging from a 226V Core Ultra 5 processor with 16GB of integrated RAM to a 288V Core Ultra 9 processor with 32GB RAM. The company claims it has a whopping 67 TOPS of GPU performance and 48 TOPS of NPU, and its M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 4 x 4 slot supports NVMe SSDs ranging from 256 GB to 2 TB.

All this fits into a computer that is 130 mm deep and wide and just 34 mm high; for comparison, the Mac Mini is 127 mm deep and wide and 50 mm high. Below are some photos from Asus’ website:

The Asus NUC 14 Pro AI has a fingerprint sensor on the top and a Copilot button on the front, which you can utilize to issue voice commands to Microsoft’s AI assistant. There are also two USB-A ports, a Thunderbolt 4 port, a headphone jack, and a power button on the front. On the back there’s a 2.5Gbps Ethernet port, another Thunderbolt 4 port, two more USB-A ports, and an HDMI port. Connectivity is provided by Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

Asus still hasn’t said when the NUC 14 Pro AI will be available or how much it will cost.
