AI agent startup /dev/agents announced a massive $56 million seed round, bringing the company’s valuation to a whopping $500 million. The amount is impressive considering that the first version of the product will be available at least early next year. The reason for investor confidence, however, becomes a little clearer when you consider the founders’ pedigree: both /dev/agents co-founders worked on Google’s Android team in the early days of the smartphone era.
This round, and whether you should operate a “slash” when pronouncing a company name, was the first of many deals discussed on today’s episode of the Equity TechCrunch Podcast.
