Google Docs Image Generator is available for paid Workspace accounts, which include Gemini Business, Enterprise, Education, Education Premium or Google One AI Premium add-ons.
Those with the fresh feature can find it below Insert > Image > Lend a hand me create an imagewhich will bring up a “Create Image” sidebar where you can enter a description of what you want to create. It also includes a drop-down menu for selecting an art style with options such as “Photo” or “Sketch”.
You can choose square, horizontal or vertical image proportions to best suit the layout of your flyer, brochure, menu or whatever you are trying to create. You can also create full-bleed cover images that span the width of a pageless document.
The feature will roll out first to domains on a brisk release schedule today and may take up to 15 days to appear. Meanwhile, planned release domains will be rolled out gradually, starting December 16.
