Prime Video will let you summon artificial intelligence to summarize what you’re watching

Amazon Prime Video is getting a up-to-date AI-powered generative feature that will lend a hand you catch up on your programming. A up-to-date tool called X-Ray Recaps lets you create text-based summaries of “entire seasons of TV shows, individual episodes, and even episode fragments.” – the company says in a blog post.

The X-Ray summary will be available on the show details page or in the X-Ray app while watching. The tool “analyzes various video segments combined with subtitles or dialogue to generate detailed descriptions of key events, places, times and conversations,” Amazon says. Amazon has also implemented “guardrails” to lend a hand the feature avoid sharing spoilers and keep summaries concise.
