ChatGPT now has an app for Windows

Like the Mac version of the app, ChatGPT for Windows allows you to ask questions to the AI-powered chatbot in a dedicated window that you can open next to your apps. You can quickly access the application using Alt + space abbreviation.

It also allows you to upload files and photos to ChatGPT and provides access to a preview of OpenAI’s o1 model capable of “inference”. However, the app still lacks some features such as advanced voice mode.

While only ChatGPT Plus, Enterprise, Team, and Edu subscribers can operate the app on Windows, OpenAI says it plans to make it available to everyone later this year.
