TrakCare EMR is the backbone of Bali International Hospital
The soon-to-open Bali International Hospital will implement InterSystems’ TrakCare EMR system.
Its operator, PT Pertamedika Bali Hospital, recently partnered with T-Systems to implement digital medical records, which will enable faster access to patient data at the modern 255-bed hospital.
According to a press release, the EMR integration will be completed in time for the hospital’s grand opening, which is expected to take place next month in September.
National Health Authority doubles down on digital health education
India’s National Health Authority has partnered with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences to aid escalate the digital healthcare competency of the country’s healthcare workforce.
Under the MoU, the NHA will offer the MUHS Digital Health Foundation Course to medical students, doctors and other healthcare professionals through Karmayogi’s online learning platform iGOT for public sector employees. The course will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of digital health.
The two sides will jointly develop more digital health programmes to promote the implementation of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, a nationwide initiative to lay the foundation of India’s digital health ecosystem.
Virtus Fertility Centre Singapore uses artificial intelligence in its in vitro fertilization process
Artificial intelligence is now the standard of care at Virtus Fertility Centre Singapore, helping to identify the most viable embryo during the in vitro fertilisation (IVF) process.
The clinic has adopted artificial intelligence technology called iDAScore, which was developed by scientists from its parent company Virtus Health in Australia, it was developed in collaboration with global artificial intelligence partners Harrison.ai and Swedish company Vitrolife.
Used to analyze extensive time-lapse imaging data to identify and evaluate embryos with the greatest potential to form a fetal heart.
