They questioned dozens of economists, artificial intelligence experts and “super-forecasters” about various scenarios, including one in which artificial intelligence becomes so advanced that it can both write a Pulitzer-caliber book and negotiate its own publishing rights.
In the survey, most experts said that senior-level jobs – CEO, administrative manager, senior official, legislator – will continue to grow, even in a scenario of “rapid” AI development. For most other white-collar workers, the prognosis was unclear.
Scientists generally agree that artificial intelligence can cope with this task something for the economy and that whatever it does is very intricate. Real numbers are challenging to come by.
