Google has just launched a up-to-date AI Gemini function that allows you Transform photos into video clips. The up-to-date video photo function is powered by the Google Veo 3 video model and can transform reference images into eight -speed videos with AI sound generated, including background sounds, environmental sounds and speech.
The Gemini video update is now available for Google AI Ultra and Pro subscribers “in selected regions”, according to Google. It affects the internet, starting from today and throughout the week on mobile devices.
Gemini users can access the functions by clicking the “Tools” option on the hint bar, selecting “video” and sending their photo with a description of the text they want to move. Sound descriptions can also be taken into account for dialogue, sound effects and the noise of the environment, which according to Google will “perfectly synchronized with visualizations”. The completed films are delivered as MP4 files in 720p resolution and a 16: 9 landscape format.
“You can be creative, enlivening daily objects, introducing your drawings and paintings or adding movement to the scenes of nature,” said Google. “All generated films contain a visible watermark to show that AI is generated and an invisible synthesis digital watermark.”
A similar feature is now available in Flow, AI generative AI movie tool launched in March, but now Gemini users can Animate their photos without having to open another application. Google claims that Flow will also take place today in “Additional 75 countries”, in addition to the introduction of a up-to-date Gemini video function.
