Both non -standard and ready jewels will now be available via the side panel in Workspace applications.
Google provides users with a way to access “gems” – adapted versions of the AI Gemini assistant, which specialize in specific tasks – without opening the Gemini application. The gems are now available directly in the side panel of Google, slides, sheets, disk and gmail documents, enabling users to access custom chatbots, which they have created or select ready -made offers without switching applications.

According to Google, a few examples of how users of the working space can employ jewels, include:
• Apply the Copywriting gem to create posts and content adapted to the target recipients, pre -loaded into the jewel.
• Create a gem that helps in sales interactions based on information for a specific company, perspective or industry.
• Apply a “jewel assistant” adapted to the role of work to assist ensure more appropriate summaries and content of internal communication.
• Apply a designed jewel to assist testing pressure from a specific form (ex ciuite or CEO) to assist you create the most convincing message.
The gems were previously only available in the Gemini application. Custom jewels cannot be created directly in applications about the working space, but users can do it or guided by gemini.google.com/gems/create or using the “Create a new gem” option in the side space panel. The possibilities of the working area, such as @-Nementing and access to files/folders, are supported both by non-standard and ready jewels.
The GEMS update is available to all Google working space users who can access Gemini in the side panels of Workspace applications. It began to move on July 2, but Google claims that it can be potentially “longer than 15 days”.
