The music industry builds technology to hunt AI songs

The nightmare of the music industry came true in 2023 and sounded very similar to Drake.

“If you do not build these things in the infrastructure, you will simply chase the tail,” says Matt Adeell, co -founder of Musical AI. “You can’t react to every new song or model – which does not scale. You need infrastructure that works from training through distribution.”

The goal is not to be removed, but licensing and control

Startups are now appearing to build a licensing detection. Instead of detecting AI music after its spread, some companies build tools to mark it from the moment when it is created. Vermillio and Musical AI are developing systems for scanning ready tracks for synthetic elements and automatically mean them in metadata.
