Microsoft has started testing the modern EDGE browser function that adds AI powered search for browsing history. This modern feature of “improved search” allows you to find websites in the history of the browser, even if you employ a phrase, synonym and even a typo -similar site that you really want to find.
Searching for history with AI drive began to appear in Beta Microsoft Edge versions last week. “After enabling this function of the site you visit, they will be displayed in improved history search results,” explains Microsoft in his own Notes to issue a beta channel. “The model on the device is trained using data that never leaves the device and is never sent to Microsoft.”
This optional function seems to be a lower risk of privacy than the Microsoft withdrawal function, which screenshots, most of what you do on the Copilot Plus computer to support you search for websites, photos and documents. The employ of a model on a device that is confined to the history of the browser is certainly better than the need to store everything on the screen in a local database.
In addition to the history of browsing powered artificial intelligence, Microsoft also adds the media control center to Edge, which allows you to control many multimedia sources from websites. This media control center includes quick access to the Edge image image mode, which itself gets better control and the ability to control music, video or other sounds that play Edge.
